Come and experience the calm beauty of Burrows Lea Country House and Gardens
Welcome to Burrows Lea Country House and Gardens
Designed by Frederick Pepys in 1873, Burrows Lea Country House was Harry Edwards’ home from 1946. It has remained a sanctuary for those seeking healing, clarity, and inner peace ever since – and today, it is home to the Harry Edwards Foundation.
The house provides a peaceful setting for healing work and activities. Harry Edwards collected many items during his lifetime and much of this history is on display around the house.
Burrows lea Country House is nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just outside the quaint village of Shere and a 15 minutes drive from Guildford town centre.
It is a place of transformation with its visitors noting its profound sense of calm.
