The Gentle Return: An Offering of Rest and Ritual

Heart, Liver & Kidneys

Following the theme of The Gentle Return, this is a guided gathering devoted to rest, connection, and gentle restoration.

This offering focuses on the heart, liver, and kidneys the organs that carry our life force and support love, nourishment, and emotional balance. When these foundations are cared for, the body and mind can soften, allowing energy to flow and the nervous system to settle.

Through Metta meditation, guided rest, gentle somatic practices, and self-touch, we will return to the body as a place of safety and nourishment. These practices are subtle, invitational, and designed to follow the body’s own rhythm, supporting release, detoxification, and rejuvenation without pressure or expectation.

The session will also include conscious touch and awareness exercises, encouraging the body to lead the way and helping cultivate a sense of being held and supported. Everything offered is designed to nourish the nervous system and encourage deep rest.

This is not a space to strive or achieve.
It is a return to your body, to rest, and to connection with yourself and others.

You will be further nourished with a warming cup of golden milk and a homemade sweet treat inspired by Ati’s mother, Fatma, offering a moment of care and indulgence.

About your guide

Ati is an integrative and intuitive practitioner of wellbeing practices, drawing on methods she has used and refined over many years to support her own mind and body through periods of illness, transition, and deep change. Her work is shaped by growing up within a community that valued care, presence, and shared practices : early experiences that taught her the importance of rest, listening, and connection.

Sharing these practices is central to Ati’s work and is how she continues to honour community as a living, breathing experience.

Alongside group gatherings, Ati also offers one-to-one sessions at the Harry Edwards Foundation, providing personalised support tailored to where you are physically, emotionally, and energetically. Further details about her work and 1-2-1 offerings can be found on her website – www.surreyhillswellness.co.uk.
