Healing Awareness Week at the Harry Edwards Foundation | Led by Multiple Practitioners

Join us this May for Healing Awareness Week at the Harry Edwards Foundation, a special series of events exploring the many ways healing can support wellbeing, connection and personal growth.

Across seven days, experienced healers, speakers and practitioners will lead a range of inspiring sessions including healing demonstrations, live discussions, meditation, creative workshops and supportive community conversations. Many of the events will be available both in person and online, making it easy to take part wherever you are.

4 May – In-Person & Distant Healing
Yumiko Asakura, renowned Shaman and founder of The Leaves Institute, opens the week with a special session demonstrating both in-person and distant healing.

5 May – Conversations on Healing
Live interviews and discussions with practitioners, including a lecture from Dr. Bansal, a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, who brings a unique perspective on health and wellbeing — one that bridges emergency care, prevention, and personal empowerment. As well as a personal talk from Tim Lodge, a Paralympian Canoeist, on how healing has influenced his life.

6 May – Harry Edwards Healers Masterclass
Open healing demonstrations from our experienced Harry Edwards Healers, with opportunities to learn more about healing and ask questions.

7 May – Music, Meditation & Sound
A relaxing piano sound session with Poppy, a sound and movement healer from ‘Purely Soul’ followed by an evening guided meditation with Ati Balding, founder of Surrey Hills Wellness, who will take you on a journey of relaxation and self-care. Tickets for Ati’s evening meditation can be bought separately through this link – Buy tickets – The Gentle Return: An Offering of Rest and Ritual | Led by Ati Balding – Harry Edwards Foundation

8 May – Creative Healing & Expression
This special day will focus on art as a healing tool, bringing together a small group of artists whose work is deeply rooted in spiritual or faith-based practice. Through a series of talks and conversations, they will share how their creative process supports both personal growth and healing, and how their practice shapes the work they bring into the world. Each artist works in a different medium, offering a varied and thoughtful perspective on creativity, expression, and inner connection.

9 May – Healing Support & Compassion
Join us for an insightful interview with The Brigitte Trust – a charity whose aim is to provide emotional and practical support to those facing terminal illness. In this interview, we will explore how the role of healing can support those affected by a terminal diagnoses.

10 May – Animal Healing & Closing Session
Renowned animal healer, Elizabeth Whiter, leads a special session on animal healing, followed by a walking meditation to the sound of musical gongs. After this, Trustee Alan Moore, will host an online Healing For You session to close the week.
