Join us for a rare and inspiring weekend with Rev. Bill McDonald
Join us as we delve into the extraordinary life of Rev. Bill McDonald, an American author, mystic, and international spiritual motivational speaker whose remarkable journey spans eight decades. With a relentless pursuit of wisdom, Rev. McDonald has traveled the world to seek out wisdom and advice from saints, sages, and gurus. His personal searches have lead him to find even more mysteries of the universe, leading him to profound self-discovery and spiritual realizations. He has spent months at a time in India over the last couple of decades living on ashrams and spending time with gurus and has become an authorized teacher of Kriya Yoga Meditation.
A Lifetime of Learning and Healing
Rev. Bill McDonald is coming to The Harry Edwards Foundation to share the wisdom he has gathered over eight decades of exploring love and healing energies. He has discovered softer and powerful energy techniques from his travels both in the physical world and the inner worlds of the spirit, for healing and transformation.
About Rev. Bill McDonald
Rev. McDonald is also a prolific author, having penned over a dozen books detailing his spiritually transformative experiences, including three near-death experiences and supernatural events during his combat service in the Vietnam War. His acclaimed autobiography, “Warrior: A Spiritual Odyssey”, chronicles his quest for love, understanding, forgiveness, and enlightenment. His sequel, “Alchemy of a Warrior’s Heart”, further explores his mystical encounters, including his first four transformative trips to India, where he connected with holy men and witnessed miracles.
In late 2024 and early 2025, he released four new titles: “I Remember Tomorrow”, a memoir of his ongoing spiritual journey; “Sacred Verses”, a collection of enlightened prose; “Spiritual Prayers & Blessings”, designed for those on an open spiritual path without religious dogma; and “Cosmic Chronicles*” a series of essays on life and enlightenment.
Rev. McDonald has contributed to numerous films and documentaries and was a keynote speaker at The International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS) 2019 Conference.
Over the past 24 years, he has shared his insights on more than 2,000 TV, radio shows, and Podcasts and has had interviews in several hundred newspapers, and magazines.
Teaching self-healing with an open heart and mind, Rev. McDonald views his work not as a business but as a mission of love. As he approaches his 80th birthday in March 2026, he plans to pass on his wisdom by training others to continue his legacy. His vision is clear: it’s all about the message, not the messenger.
We are deeply grateful to be hosting a weekend of events with Rev. Bill McDonald, who has graciously dedicated his time to the Foundation in the spirit of generosity.
A Near-Death Experience That Changed Everything
In his early childhood, he had a Near-Death Experience at the age of 8 years old. During that “death,” he was shown his future 50 years in advance. He had visions of himself in battle in the Vietnam War, saw his future wife, and witnessed the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He was confined to bed in that hospital for one year of his life, and it was during this time that he was shown many dreams and visions and “taught himself” meditation and healing techniques.
The Beginning of a Healer’s Path
A couple of weeks after being released from that hospital, he used what he had learned and healed his dog, who had been run over by a car. Using the power of love while channeling energy from above down through the top of his head and down his spine, he used dramatic tension while visualizing LIGHT and LOVE pouring through him and out of his hands. Doing so, his dog immediately recovered and was never taken to a veterinarian for treatment. That was the beginning of a life of healing.
Spiritual Training in Hawaii and Beyond
When he was 18 years of age, he left home and moved to the Hawaiian Islands because he felt drawn to them spiritually. He ultimately found an old Kahuna Priest, David K. Bray, who taught him the Hawaiian ways of healing. Which he later added to his own energy healing process while blending things he learned in India later in life. This has led to a stronger fusion of healing modalities.
A Mission to Share Healing Freely
Today, at this stage of his life, Rev. Bill’s mission is to pass on all he has learned to the next generation of healers of energy healers before he leaves this planet. For the past three years, he has travelled the world on a mission to discover people willing and able to receive what he is giving, offering free self-healing workshops, never charging for his teachings, though donations are welcome to help him continue this work.
Supporting The Harry Edwards Foundation
He comes to The Harry Edwards Foundation, freely donating his time and energies to those willing to learn. This is also an opportunity to raise money for the Foundation and support the wonderful work that this organization has given the world.
