Part of my recovery was visiting a spiritual healer, and my grandad had a gift also for healing. Its an honour to be asked to shape the new pathway within the foundation of Harry Edwards. To re-establish the Sanctuary as the home of spiritual healing and to dispel the myth around this gift to mankind.

Our Chair of Trustees, Alan Moore, worked for the BBC and ITN, spending many years as Head of Communications for ITN and the Technical Manager on the coverage of major events.
His interest in healing began after seeing a public demonstration of healing by Harry Edwards in 1968, aged 19. After being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1973 and benefitting from healing himself, he became a great believer in contact and distant healing. When asked to become a healer many years later, he jumped at the opportunity, graduating from his two years training in 2008 and starting voluntary work at Burrows Lea in 2009.
Alan has been involved with organising and running the Regional Healing Days and Away Days for many years and will continue to do so alongside his duties as a Trustee.
