Join us on Sunday 16th November for a deep and restorative sound journey with Derek Barnes, facilitated alongside Kim Pilkington. Using the inherent sound and vibration of the voice, Derek creates an immersive soundscape and experiential learning event that supports relaxation, insight and connection. Participants are guided to explore how sound can release tension, quieten the mind, and awaken new states of consciousness and awareness.
In this workshop, we will explore and discover how voice and sound can transform our experience of consciousness, inviting connection with the Gaia-sphere.
Through demonstration, shared discussion, and gentle sounding in a supportive environment you will have an opportunity to reconnect with your own unique sound expression, embracing scientific and spiritual perspectives. Through breath, sound, truth and intention you will have an opportunity to experience the attributes of different cultures, connecting with ancestral vibrations and open a gateway to information to support your own intuition, creativity, and insight.
Our goals will be to:-
- Ignite healing and inspirational frequencies
- Discover your unique sound expression to enhance self-awareness and your soul journey
- Unleash the vibration of creativity and freedom of expression through the intuitive use of voice and sound
Working through the heart, this workshop is for participants seeking to expand their experience of how sound and vibration can change consciousness and how this shift may allow access to joy, inspiration, wisdom, self-empowerment, love, and peace: –
- For any professional practitioner in the field of music, drama or voice, or working in a therapeutic setting, or anyone aspiring to work in these fields where breath and intention play a role in communication.
- To those who wish to work with vocal sound as a path to healing and transformation.
- No prior experience is required, just an openness to receive and explore.
